Betty Belts

Betty Belts is based in the beach community of Ventura, on the Gold Coast of California. Owner/Designer Donna von Hoesslin draws her inspiration from her love of the ocean, surfing and an active lifestyle. When merged with experiences gained through 17 years of living in Europe (Berlin), she discovered a means of converting ardent passion into an elegant and very connected design modus, which gave birth to a socially conscious business that reflects the deeper values of a life lived around the sea.

Donna’s designs are Made with Dignity on the beautiful Island of Bali and here in California. By design, Donna has been collaborating with independent artisans who set their own price and pace. Our Balinese headquarters are run with love and skill by Donna’s Balinese soul sister, a woman of equal passion and mind set, who employs a growing staff of mostly women from the local community.
